Inside the Rapid-Response Logistics of the Bodwé-KVG JV on WEXMAC Task Orders

When the call comes in for expeditionary support, our team is ready to jump into action. Under the latest iteration of the Worldwide Expeditionary Multiple Award Contract (WEXMAC 2.0), the Bodwé-KVG Joint Venture (JV) provides mission-critical support services with precision and speed.

At the heart of the Bodwé-KVG JV is a partnership built on mutual trust, shared commitment, and operational excellence. By combining Bodwé’s SBA 8(a) tribal ownership, proven program management, and government contracting agility with KVG’s deep-rooted experience in Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) expeditionary logistics, this JV delivers services with unified execution. Every WEXMAC 2.0 mission is a joint effort where integrated teams work side by side to anticipate needs, solve challenges, and exceed expectations.

Our strength lies in how we operate together: seamlessly aligned, mission-focused, ready to mobilize at a moment’s notice and achieve full operational capability (FOC) within days wherever we’re needed.

72 Hours to FOC at a Logistics Support Area (LSA)

In one assignment, our team had just 72 hours to establish a fully operational and capable logistics support area from scratch. Arriving to an empty site, we got to work immediately and transformed the bare lot into a fully functional life-support hub. Within days, we delivered, leveled, and connected modular living trailers, mapped out clear ingress and egress routes, and established proper safety buffers.

The Bodwé-KVG JV team worked with vendors to quickly supply power, lights, and white water tanks for the logistics support area.

Simultaneously, a fully functional dining facility was stood up ahead of schedule, where hot meals were served within 36 hours due to the early commissioning of cooking trailers, sanitation stations, and a fully equipped chow line. Crews also activated power and utility infrastructure, including generators, heating and air conditioning units (HVAC), potable water tanks, and lighting towers to ensure redundancy and 24/7 uptime. Logistics, distribution, and resupply were handled with precision.

“With a team member on site providing direct leadership and coordination across all critical lanes, we were able to successfully ensure that our mission partners were aligned on expectations and timelines,” said Steve Anderson, Vice President of Global Support Services at Bodwé Group.
Fleet Delivered, Mission Enabled

Under another WEXMAC Task Order, our team is delivering and managing a fleet of Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTVs) essential to daily mission movement, logistics coordination, and command support.

Responding to a short-notice requirement, the Bodwé-KVG JV sourced, inspected, and delivered a tailored fleet of SUVs, pickup trucks, and passenger vans across multiple U.S. military installations within hours of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). From the outset, our integrated teams worked hand in hand to meet exacting Government specifications, ensuring each vehicle was registered correctly, configured, and fully mission-ready within days of the task order award.

Vehicles were deployed with real-time tracking, detailed check-in/check-out procedures, and daily reporting protocols, giving end users confidence in fleet reliability and accountability. As operational needs shifted, our support teams adjusted rapidly, ensuring replacement vehicles, maintenance scheduling, and administrative compliance never slowed mission momentum.

7,443 Meals, Two Metropolitan Locations, 13 Days

In another high-profile task order, Bodwé-KVG JV was called to provide 7,443 meals over 13 days across two metropolitan campuses. This mission-critical operation required rapid mobilization and continuous scalability. Our team organized food service operations, kitchen infrastructure, sanitation systems, and logistics distribution nodes within 96 hours, fully compliant with military and DC Health regulations.

Our team of vendors received positive feedback for their ability to provide full-service food operations for more than 7,400 meals in less than two weeks.

What followed was a model of operational precision: every aspect of the food service workflow, from menu planning and ingredient sourcing to packaging, delivery, and after-action sanitation was managed as one cohesive operation. As daily headcounts fluctuated, our team adapted in real time to maintain portion accuracy, service speed, and most importantly, quality.

We credit much of this success to the proven history of KVG supporting OCONUS missions and their ability to identify reputable, compliant vendors. Under our shared JV’s leadership, these vendors delivered services with zero interruptions and received positive end-user feedback, proving that expeditionary quality can meet permanent-facility standards.

Our Mobilization Playbook

Our team’s success is also driven by our mobilization playbook, a strategy refined through experience and driven by continuous improvement. From parallel planning that aligns compliance, logistics, and quality-of-life needs from day one, to modular asset packages that include scalable kits designed for rapid deployment, our methods are built for flexibility and accuracy. By leveraging KVG’s global supplier network, we can secure food, fuel, and fleet resources before boots hit the ground.

Our response teams use real-time operational dashboards to track consumption, equipment status, and personnel movements, giving clients real-time visibility and the insights they need to stay ahead. And at every stage, compliance is prioritized, whether we are following medical food codes or local environmental ordinances.

Tasks under the WEXMAC 2.0 require strong coordination and adaptable leadership, which Bodwé-KVG JV continues to provide.

“WEXMAC 2.0 is designed for speed, and so are we,” said Anderson. “The Bodwé-KVG JV team is built on trust, readiness, and proven execution. That’s what makes us stand out as a reliable partner when every hour counts.”

By understanding the art of rapid mobilization without sacrificing safety, quality, or accountability, Bodwé-KVG JV clears the way for our clients to stay mission-focused. As additional task orders come in, our team remains committed to continuous improvement, refining load plans, expanding vendor capacity, and leveraging data analytics to forecast requirements with greater precision.

No matter the mission, our message is clear: we’re ready when you are.
