The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians restored and reinvigorated this residential neighborhood with new multi-generational housing for its tribal citizens.
Community-oriented patio space with landscaping to maintain privacy

Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians collaborated with Greenfire Management Services and Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering (7GAE) to provide design-build services for both single and multiple-story housing units on a site promoting a walkable, handicapped-accessible community.

The housing units feature one and two-bedroom layouts that offer functionality and accessibility and range from 995 to 1,155 square feet. The elder housing units adhere to ADA guidelines and utilize ramps instead of stairs for the ground floor. The design also includes ADA sills and thresholds on the ground floor.
