Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering (7GAE) designed this 6,700 square foot convenience store, 14 handle fuel station for the Match-e-be-nash-she-wish Band of Potawatomi. The Noonday Market, located on Tribal Trust land, includes a tenant space for a quick serve restaurant and is located across from the Gun Lake Casino. 7GAE is honored to have worked with Gun Lake Investments, the Band’s economic development corporation, on its first non-gaming venture.
The Noonday convenience store and gas station serves guests of the casino, Gun Lake Band citizens, and the general public. The design integrates prominent use of cedar on the exterior as well as interior of the project due to honor its cultural significance to the Gun Lake Band.

The building's construction is wood frame with exterior stone veneer, horizontal cedar siding, and EIFS finishes. 7GAE was hired as a consultant of Rockford Construction for the design process as well as final construction documents and construction administration.
